2008 Norwegian Poker Championships

The name of the game is poker, the tournament is the 2008 Norwegian Poker Championships, and the location is - Nottingham, England? You may not have guessed it, it's that time of year, when hundreds of Norwegians migrate to the UK to play a little poker.

While the Norwegian government looks down on poker, Norwegian players are still some of the most threatening of the new breed and they need a place to hold their annual championships so where better than Robin Hood's former home? Enter Dusk Till Dawn, the poker club in Nottingham, where the seventh annual Norwegian Poker Championships will take place at the end of April.

Four hundred Norwegian poker players are expected to attend, and the organizers have put together some very interesting poker events to entertain them. A deep stack, two different "second chance" events and an unlimited rebuy - which is sure to get the action going!
