Kid Poker started playing poker in Canada as a teenager (hence the nickname) and eventually migrated to the United States were the games were juicy. Now Daniel Negreanu is migrating to your pocket with mobile phone videos designed to teach you how to play the "Cadillac of poker", Texas Hold'em.

The series of videos, entitled "Win at Texas Hold'em", is produced by I-Play, a mobile entertainment company, and features PokerStars team player Daniel Negreanu, one of the most popular pro poker players in action today. Kid Poker may just as easily been nicknamed "The Human Radar" due to his much vaunted people reading ability, often making tough decisions at the poker table based on his read and then telling players what cards they are holding—and is right more often than not.

Negreanu is now offering these skills to the mobile phone user in his Win at Texas Hold'em video series, which feature two and three minute clips on topics in the following categories: Beginner, Advanced, Bluffs & Tells, Tournament Tips and Winning Secrets. The videos are available now for Sprint and Cingular mobile phone subscribers. Subscription to the video series seems to be a requirement, and subscribers will have access to the library of videos, as well as select clips from Daniel's own video blog.

I-Play has made it know that it plans on a "Win at Texas Hold'em with Daniel Negreanu" game application to be used on the mobile phones as well. This will be coming out on North American and European mobile phone networks this year.

Daniel was also known for his Full Contact Poker poker room, which has since closed its doors and moved all players over to PokerStars. Daniel himself has joined the site as a member of Team PokerStars, where you can find him from time to time playing online.

(Editor's Note: Fancy a shot at Danny? You can find him at PokerStars, which also offers seats to the new Asian Pacific Poker Tour.)
