Danielle Lloyd becomes the new face of Ladbrokespoker

Danielle Lloyd, ex-Miss Great Britian, former lover of former footballer Teddy Sherigham and former contestant of Celebrity Big Brother where she was involved in a race row with winner Shilpa Shetty, is the new face of Ladbrokes Poker.

The 23-year-old wannabe, who recently split with the 40-something – and VC Poker spokesman – Sheringham is ready to compete online with her former beau and she may even use some of the tricks he taught her when he showed her how to play the game in 2006.

"The battle between the two will be one of the industry's most compelling contests," one well-placed betting source said. "Dani's appearance on the poker scene will really raise the stakes, but there's no way Teddy is going to fold and let her and Ladbrokes take the jackpot."

Lloyd was signed up with Ladbrokes when she showed she had an eye for the prize when she picked thre winners at the Cheltenham Festival in 2007 - scooping herself £10,000. Which of the former lovers will win the batle of the endorsement world will become clear in the future, but the rivalry is sure to ignite some sections of the industry.
