ECOOP II Main Event winner

Finnish player Jeanss89 won the ECOOP II main event on Sunday night to take down the first prize of a whopping $315,000 and more importantly the prestigious title of European Champion of Online Poker.

Jeanss89 saw off the other 1276 players to take the win early on Monday morning. The tournament had a buy-in of $1000 + $60 but with $1.5million guaranteed in the prize pool. With only 1277 players registered it meant there was excellent value for money for all those involved in the tournament.

By winning the tournament Jeanss89 also qualified for the special $50,000 freeroll for the players who have managed to make it into the top 100 performance points over the 10-day tournament. This event takes place on Wednesday June 4 at 19:00 GMT.
