Everest says No Way to Take Over
April 26, 2007 - Coni CarlssonOnline poker room Everest Poker has denied any rumors of take over. The European poker room has “solid plans for 2007.”
With Everest Poker pulling out all the stops in the way of player promotions and big tournaments, the rumors that the company was facing a looming take over bid were not too surprising, but the poker room has denied that any take over is forth coming. The Director of PR and Events has been quoted as saying that she would “like to officially deny rumors” to that effect, and that Everest Poker has “solid plans for 2007.”
The poker room seems to be implementing many of those plans already, with promotions designed to build loyalty among players old and new. Readers should head to Everest Poker to take advantage of these promos, especially if they are new players from Finland, Poland, and Hungary, to take advantage of the freerolls.
