Michael Ellis, last year's GUKPT Main Event Final winner will be in attendance and will be defending his title and competing for his share of the prize pool- and the first place winner is looking at taking home well over £200,000!
A number of warm-up events have happened in the lead up to the Grand Final as GUKPT rankings leader Marc Goodwin has furthered his lead over his other rivals on the GUKPT leaderboard by finishing second twice and then slotting in a third place finish. Currently ahead by 132 points, he is considered the favourite to take the title of GUKPT Player of the Year, literally snatching it from the clutches of Tony Cascarino.
The action kicks off at 2 pm tomorrow and will continue through to Saturday with final table action being dealt on Sunday, November 30. All winners start with 15,000 chips and blind levels increase on the hour. The winner of the GUKPT Final Table will receive a seat at the Champion of Champions tournament which takes place next month in Luton.
