VCPoker Presents the European Championship of Online Poker

These days you don't have to travel around the globe to take part in a major poker tournament-- VCPoker presents the latest online tournament series, the European Championship of Online Poker.

The ECOOP is a ten day online poker event sponsored by VCPoker.com, an inaugural event where $2.5 million will be paid out—guaranteed.

There will be a number of different tournament types, including the innovative  $50,000 MVP free roll, an event where the title of 2007 ECOOP Most Valuable Player will be awarded based on skill and determination—and their ranking on the leaderboard. To take place in this special event, players competing in the ECOOP watch their progress on the leaderboard. The top fifty players at the end of the main ten day run of the ECOOP will be invited to take part in the $50,000 free roll on December 11th.

No limit and limit Texas Hold'em poker tournaments abound in the ECOOP, as one might imagine, but there will be Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo poker tournaments as well, adding a bit of variety and giving those Omaha specialists a shot at big payouts.

The whole festival of events begins on November 30th and runs through December 9th (and of course the $50,000 MVP free roll on December 11th.)
