Phil Ivey has made it to seven final tables over the history of the World Poker Tour, and six times he has left without winning. His latest story is not yet over, as he makes the final table at the World Poker Tour’s Season Six Mirage Poker Showdown, playing out on Wednesday.Ivey is the only big name player out of a handful that threatened to take a seat at the six person final table.
David “The Dragon” Pham, Nam Le and John D’Agonstino were among the other pros, all of whom have made final tables in the past. The winner of the Mirage Poker Showdown will leave with more than a million dollars for first place.
