The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) in association by Blue Square Poker is the largest UK based poker tour and takes place at 10 different Grosvenor Casinos throughout the UK.

Grosvenor casinos have been the major provider of live poker in the UK for several years. With 21 card rooms across the country and an established festival circuit, Grosvenor is at the forefront of the UK poker scene and the natural home for a UK poker tour.

The GUKPT is an exciting series of 11 major poker tournaments, each taking place as the main event of an existing Grosvenor Poker Festival.

GUKPT GRAND FINAL STARTS NOVEMBER 20

The Grand Final of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is set to kick off in two days time and will feature some of the top poker competition from around Europe. The tournament is, effectively, a freeroll open only to players that have qualified for the event by finishing in the money at any of the previous GUKPT legs.

BRIAN CLARKE WINS 9TH LEG OF GUKPT

Scotland's Brian Clarke deafeated Zachary Ford in what has been described as one of the best final tables in the history of UK-based poker. The £96,500 first prize wound up in the hands of a night watchman from Blackpool who was overcome with emotion and literally at a loss for words at the G Casino in his hometown.

GUKPT Champion of Champions Tournament

The next stage in the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is the Champion of Champions Tournament which will be unfolding at the G Casino in Luton on Thursday December 4th. Originally scheduled to happen over a two day period, it has been condensed to one single day and the event guarantees a prize pool of £75,000.

ASH STUBS OUT OPPOSITION AT GROSVENOR GRAND PRIX

Former European number one Ash Hussain has won the Grosvenor Grand Prix in Walsall. The unique pot limit hold'em event, which is now a part of the GUKPT had a relatively small field of 58 players, but represented great value, as Blue Square Poker added £25,000 to the prize pool. Players were not permitted to buy into the event, but could only take part by winning a seat via a series of £50 rebuy satellites. Two years ago Hussain's brother Zahir 'Zippy' Aslam won this same tournament and now Ash has brought the trophy back home to Accrington once again.

GUKPT Luton Final Table Results

22-year-old Sam Trickett, from Nottingham, England has won the sixth leg of the GUKPT at the G Casino in Luton.  Prior to playing poker, Trickett played professional football in England, before he suffered a knee injury and was forced to quit the game.
