WSOP over, what next?
So the WSOP is over for another year, but that doesn't stop the rest of the poker world continuing! So what tournaments are upcoming that you could try and qualify for and so that it is you sitting next to the pros in with a shout of some big bucks!
The 2008 Ladbrokes Killarney Irish Poker Festival is on its way and you could find yourself playing the 250,000 Euro guaranteed Main event. Which is held over the 3rd to 5th of October.
The tournament is a top quality event with a 500 + 50 Euro entry fee which will give the players 15,000 starting chips. The event is also a European ranking event, a great way to get yourself noticed on the poker circuit!
Killlarney is great for traditional Irish hospitality, the venue itself is Ireland's national event center and is in the heart of a vibrant hotel and leisure complex. Each Monday until 29th September at 19:30 GMT there will be a $137.50 Weekly Final that will award one package for every $1,250 in the Prize Pool.
