New Bodog Poker Open

Online poker room Bodog Poker has joined the few poker rooms to offer a series of events online, offering up $75,000 in added cash to entice players to try out the new Bodog Poker Open. The BPO starts March 3, and we have the full schedule right here.

The new Bodog Poker Open is a series of online poker tournaments featuring the most popular version of the most popular poker game of all time, Texas Hold'em. You will find No Limit Hold'em, Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Hold'em, and short handed, or Six Player Hold'em.

There will be six events in all, including the main event, which is priced at $500. Can't afford to swing that but still want to play? Check out Bodog for their qualifiers and feeders, and see if you can get in on the cheap.

For the winner of said main event there will be a sweet engraved Omega Speedmaster watch – in addition to the big cash prize, of course. To make sure the prizes are nice and healthy, Bodog Poker is adding $75,000 to the series in added cash. Each event has a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000, with the main event guaranteeing $25,000.

Monday March 3 is Event #1, a No Limit  $250 + 20
Tuesday March 4 is Event #2, a No Limit 6-Handed $300 + 25
Wednesday March 5 is Event #3, a Rebuy $100 + 10
Thursday March 6 is Event #4,a  Pot Limit $200 + 15
Friday March 7 is Event #5, a Limit $150 + 10
Saturday March 8 is a Satellite Day
Sunday March 9 is Event #6, the Main Event (NL) $470 + 30
