Full Tilt Poker Iron Man Bonus
October 12, 2007 - Chris Welsh
Full Tilt Poker is offering up new bonuses as part of their Iron Man Challenge, and we have the scoop here at Guide to Poker.
The Iron Man Challenge was always a great idea- a way to reward players who show up to play poker at the site on a regular, routine basis. There was always the Full Tilt Points to earn by playing a lot of poker, so the Iron Man was a way to augment that rather than replace it.
The Iron Man awards players medals based on how many Full Tilt Points they earn on a given day. If, for example, a player earns 50 FTPs a day for 20 days, they are a Bronze player and pick up 25 medals. The medals can be redeemed in a special Iron Man store for a number of neat items, such as cash and tourney tickets- and even more FTPs if you are saving for something special.
To reach Iron Man status (and who wouldn't want that) a player needs to earn 200 points a day for 25 days. If you are the kind of player that thinks that's too easy, that's were the new bonus comes in.
Now the really dedicated, those who earn more than 200 Full Tilt Points per day, can get their bonus rewards. More medals are offered, up to a max of 20 extra medals per day.
But what about those who just want to try it out, and are unsure if they can get even 50 FTPs in a day? The second addition to the Iron Man promo is just for these kinds of players- a once a month freeroll for $2,000, as long as they earn at least one FTP a day.
Sounds easy, but it still takes dedication, because if a player misses just one day during a month, they won't qualify. As long as they log on and play, however, they should be in that $2k freeroll without a problem.
(Editor's Note: And if you don't have a Full Tilt Poker account but want to try out this Iron Man stuff, check out our Full Tilt review and then sign up.)
