The PartyPoker Irish Poker Championship is going to be one of the biggest and the first major poker tournaments on the European poker scene, and plenty of big name pros are already scheduled to be on hand. The Flying Dutchman Marcel Luske, and Robert Williamson III are to be counted among them, and while they are among the favorites there is no saying you don't have a great shot at winning the title. Just to be on the safe side, though, it's probably better to win your seat and go for free
The main $240 weekly satellite that normally runs on Tuesday has been moved forward to Sunday, putting your last shot at getting in on the Irish Poker Championship for cheap on December 23rd.
The event will put one $5,000 package in the kitty for every 25 players in the main satellite. While there are hundreds of qualifiers being played out in pubs across Ireland, playing online lets you try from anywhere on the globe.
The PartyPoker Irish Poker Championship takes place at the Radisson Hotel & Spa in Galway, Ireland at the beginning of the new year. The action kicks off on January 4th and runs through January 6th, with a 2,000 buy-in expected to push the prize pool up to as much as 1,000,000.
