Pamela Anderson Profile

August 10, 2006

Taylor Anderson has become an American icon, which is somewhat ironic considering that she was born in Canada.  Following up on the train of irony, our hometown is named Ladysmith and while people may debate her character and choices based on a career built around revealing her body in one fashion or another, it seems a safe to say the large portion of her activities have not exactly been ladylike.  On the other hand she seems to have a big heart, often making appearances for charity purposes and even giving PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) a good deal of real estate on her official web site.

Pamela Anderson was born in 1967 and always had the itch to act, often roping in her brother for childhood plays to the delight of their parents.  Later on, and a British Columbia Lions football game, she was put up on a large-screen Mike Cameron and briefly.  The crowd so liked what they saw that they demanded she be present at the lottery drawing at halftime.  Scallops for Playboy heard about the incident in contacted her about appearing in their magazine.  Pam followed her dreams to Los Angeles and has since set a record for the most Playboy covers of any model.

Anderson tried her hand at a variety of sitcoms while in Los Angeles, finally winning a role as the Tool Time girl on the hit sitcom Tool Time.  According to her official bio she left Tool Time to take a job with Baywatch in order to bring her dog to work with her.  Baywatch is constant emphasis on slew of moving, beating his suit clad beauties thrust Anderson further into the spotlight.  After her stint on Baywatch ended she had a few seasons on a comedy action show called VIP, and has starred in a number of movies including a not so critically accoladed comic book adaptation called Barbwire.

Pam's stormy relationship with motley crew drummer Tommy Lee, which included a "stolen honeymoon video," left her divorced as a single mom with two boys.  She has since developed a relationship with rocker -- rapper Kid Rock and it is rumored that wedding bells are in the future.

Oh -- and she has a new Poker web site, www.pamelapoker.com.
