The ECOOP at Titan Poker

Rivaling such online poker extravaganzas as FTOPS and LEOCOP comes another bunch of letters, the ECOOP, this time sponsored by Titan Poker. Titan is already known for some interesting poker tourney ideas, such as the million dollar sit n go, the Tournament Titan, and now they will add the European Championship of Online Poker to their list.

The ECOOP is putting up $2.5 in guaranteed money for the prize pools, spread out over ten events. Kicking off at the tail end of November, the ECOOP is nicely timed to be the biggest online poker event of the holiday season, keeping online poker players warm during the winter months by glowing in the basking light of their computer monitors.

Of course, the promise of winning the lion's share of $100k, $250k or even $1 million is enough to warm the cockles of anyone's heart.

Remember that these prize pool guarantees are minimums- in other big online events the guarantees are often exceeded, which means you could win even more than the posted amount.

A bit of advice: these events can be marathons of poker, so if you are not used to hours and hours spent playing one event, get in some practice now with a few low-limit, large number MTTs.
