World Poker Tour

The World Poker Tour took it's lead from Late Night Poker in the UK, realizing that showing the hole cards of Texas Hold'em tournament players was key in holding the attention of a television audience. The rest, as they say, is history. With expert commentary by Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patton, the WPT runs their events in partnership with hosting casinos across the United States, the Bahamas, and Paris, continuing to add to their roster year after year. Their string of beautiful hosts for the show began with Shana Hiatt for the first three seasons, followed by Courtney Friel for season four, Sabina Gadecki for season five, and new comer Layla Kayleigh for season six.

The Dan - The Legend

Dan Harrington knows a thing or two about poker. It's been said before, so it might sound a bit trite, but it bears repeating; he is the man who literally wrote the book on no limit Texas hold'em tournament poker. In fact, he wrote three of them for starters, all titled "Harrington on Hold'em." He has the credentials to be taken seriously on the subject, as he did win the World Series of Poker main event in 1995. His name, his books, and his awful green hat are all legendary- so it is fitting that he recently won the 2007 World Poker Tour Legends of Poker event.
