Result – Russian Vitaly Lunkin saw off American Brett Kimes heads up to take down the $629,417 first prize. Lunkin outclassed Kimes in the final hand with a clever check on a Jack high flop with his Ace Jack and when Kimes moved all in with his 8 10 then it was a simple call for Lunkin to make and win the bracelet.

Result – American Philip Galfond beat fellow American Adam Houran heads up to take down the massive $817,781 first prize. An incredible final table saw the top two bracelet holders in WSOP history Phil Hellmuth Jr and Johnny Chan along with Daniel Negreanu and John Juanda, makes Galfond's win all the more impressive.

Result – American John Phan managed to win his first bracelet having had two second place finishes before when he beat American Johnny Neckar head-sup to win $434,789.

World Championship Limit Hold'em

Result – Dutchman Rob Hollink was crowned World Champion of Limit Hold'em when he beat American Jerrod Ankenman heads up to win the $496,931 first prize. Hollink has the proud record of now being the first person from Holland to win a WSOP bracelet.

No-Limit Hold'em Six Handed

Result – Italian Dario Minieri managed to win a second WSOP bracelet this year for Italy when he beat American Seth Fischer heads up. 1998-world champion Scotty Nguyen finished in seventh place.

Result – American Jose Luis Velador beat American Anthony Signore heads-up to win the $574,734 first prize. In the final hand Signore moved all in with Ace six only to find Velador with an Ace 7.

World Championship 7-Card Stud Hi-Lo Split 8-or-Better

Result – German Sebastian Ruthenberg beat poker legend American Chris "Jesus" Ferguson heads-up to be crowned World Champion of 7-Card Stud Hi-Lo Split 8-or-better. A high class final table included Dutchman Marcel Luske and Americans Annie Duke and Howard Lederer.

Event 34 June 18th to June 20th
Pot-Limit Omaha w/re-buys

Result – Layne Flack beat Daniel Makowsky heads-up as the two Americans battled for the $£557,725 first prize. This was Flack's sixth WSOP bracelet, five long years since he won his last.
