Weekend online action

This weekend there are plenty of places to play that have huge guaranteed prize-pots. Here Guide to Poker looks at some of the most highly rated big money tournaments to play in.

Saturday 21st June (all times BST)

Starting off the weekend there are two massive tournaments on Titanpoker,com

2.30pm: $50,000 guaranteed and if that wasn't enough for there is another $50,000 on Titan starting 15 minutes later. This means that even if you get knocked out in one tournament you will still be alive to play in the second.

3pm: PartyPoker also has a $50,000 tournament on Saturday with a 3pm.

7pm: A tournie for later in the day is the $25k event at PokerStars.com that although only guaranteeing $25k will have a huge field and also a massive prize pool.

Sunday 22nd June

Always the biggest day of the poker week and this week is certainly no different

12.45pm: It starts with the $215 buy-in on the $300,000 guaranteed tournie at Partypoker.com. There is also the $0.5m tournament at poker stars which starts at the same time - the Sunday warm up - which has as big a prize pool as most tournaments have within any week.

1.30pm: The $10,000 at betfair begins with a $550 buy-in.

2pm: The tournaments continue to come thick and fast with the Ladbrokes $109 buy-in $100,00 tournie and the 2.45pm $50,000 $55 buy-in tournie on Titan which makes up for some fantastic value.

3.45pm: Titan are at it again with their $109 $25,000 guaranteed tournie.

4.30pm: $1million tournie on Poker stars - the biggest event of the week. There is always the $25,000 tournie at 7pm on Pokerstars to keep you entertained.

In all there are huge amounts of money to be won on some big sites this weekend and although the fields for these tournaments can sometimes be astronomical the rewards at the end of a good run of cards can be magnificent.
