Chris Moorman, widely regarded as the best poker tournament player in the UK, has finally won one of the 'Sunday Major' tournaments. Moorman has won and run deep in hundreds of online tournaments over the years but, until last weekend, has never made a winning impact on any of the big Sunday games.
Playing on Full Tilt Poker, Moorman took charge of the Sunday Brawl game. He never really looked in any trouble throughout the event and eventually took the honours for a $109,620 win.
He now sites 5th, overall, in the PocketFives player rankings and is the top UK ranked player by some distance.

PokerStars took their online seats for the biggest tournament of the weekend. The Sunday Million pulled in 9,687 players which created a prize pool of just under $2 million.Player Highway51 took that one, banking a juicy looking $271,241.22 in the process.
