It's nice enough winning over $400,000 by playing a game - but getting
to do it in front of the hometown crowd, beating out fellow Europeans and those crude Americans, and getting crowned as a poker champion, well that must be like heaven. For David Benyamine, he got to do all this at age 28 when he took down the field in the World Poker Tour's famous French circuit event, at the Aviation Club de France. What made it all the sweeter is that the Aviation Club is where David always played, starting at a low limit games and working his way up to become a professional level poker player, all thanks to a buddy who worked at the club and introduced him to the game.
