Dwyte Pilgrim Wins WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Rincon

Dwyte Pilgrim might not be the most recognisable name to people outside of poker circles but, to those in the know, Pilgrim is one of the most impressive WSOP Circuit players around right now.  Yesterday the Brooklyn based professional added his third WSOP Circuit title to his resume following his victory at the Harrah's Rincon event.

Pilgrim's success in WSOP Circuit events is simply remarkable.  In the last 15 months he has made 10 final tables and 18 cashes.  From those he has picked up three gold rings for his efforts.  At this rate Pilgrim will soon run out of fingers for his WSOP jewellery!

Pilgrim bested a field of 169 players in Rincon.  His $340 buy-in returning $13,392 in prize money.  He said; "For the past eight months, I've been playing some good poker. As of recently, I've been catching fire. I'm just trying to stay consistent. I always say I'm one of the best players; I'm just not promoted right

. I'm working my way all the way to the top.

"The rest of the year is to get ready for the World Series. That's the main part of the year. We're gonna play the season, June's gonna be the playoffs, and we're gonna come with a strong playoff game. I think I should be one of the players to be watched for at the World Series and we're gonna make it a show."

Ed note: You can now qualify for the WSOP when you join Full Tilt Poker - we'll also give you 27% rakeback and a $600 deposit bonus when you start playing.
