JC Trans Triumphs At The Party Poker Premier League III

The Party Poker Premier League III has ended and the man who was chip leader at the final table JC Tran is the champion. Winning what some would argue as being the toughest field in Premier League history, JC Tran is now $300,000 richer and adds to his already excellent year.

The starting table draw and chip counts were as follows:
Seat 1: Tom Dwan (United States) - 260,000
Seat 2: Juha Helppi (Finland) - 340,000
Seat 3: Tony G (Australia) - 260,000
Seat 4: Roland de Wolfe (United Kingdom) - 230,000
Seat 5: JC Tran (United States) - 450,000
Seat 6: Peter Eastgate (Denmark) - 390,000

The first player to be knocked out was the newly crowned WSOP World Champion Peter Eastgate when JC TRAN'S aces beat his Ks9s on a board of JsKs5dJdAc

Peter Eastgate finishes in 6th place and pockets $30,000.

Next to go was Roland de Wolf when his pocket Kings were no match for Juha Helppi's Ad Qc with a board of 4h 3c As 6d 10c.

He finished with $40,000 for his efforts.

Tom Dwan was the next to be knocked out when his 86s lost to Tony G's  Jc 8d on a board of 7s 8c 5h 2d Kd. He finised in 4th place.

On the break, the chip counts stood as follows.
Tony G-    1,145,000
JC Tran-    430,000
Juha Helpi-    365,000

Juha Helpi was next to go when his ASPADE 10d lost to Tony G's Ad Qc on a board Qh 5h 7s 4c.

He finished in 3rd place.

Starting the heads-up battle, Tony held 1,150,000 and JC had 780,000.

In the final hand of the tournament, JC TRAN limped in with 9c 7d and Tony G checked with Ks 8d. The board was 5d 7h 6h Jc 2s. This was the end of the road for TONY G and JC TRAN finished in 1st place with a prize of $150000.
