Day 4 at the EPT Monte Carlo has just begun and it's American poker pro' Kevin Eyster that tops the chip counts.
Eyster had a superb Day 3. After doubling up his stack early on he capitalised on his strong chip position throughout the day to finish with 2,768,000 when the chips were bagged up for the evening. Hot on his heels is Matt Perrins with 2,518,000, as the field of 24 return today with their sights set on the final table.
After a good Day 2 it seemed as though former WSOP 2003 main event winner, Chris Moneymaker, may make a big impact on the event. Sadly, for Moneymaker, he was eliminated by Jean Francois Talbot after making a move with J-4 and running into the pocket 8s of Talbot.
Play will continue down to the final table today with the final itself happening tomorrow. €1,700,000 awaits the winner of the event.
