The LadbrokesPoker.com Nordic Challenge 2006 will be played on the 19th- 21st of May at the Reval Park Hotel & Casino, Tallinn, Estonia.
After the success of the previous Ladbrokes Challenge in Tallinn, Ladbrokes has decided to go bigger, better and Nordic this time! The prize pool will be $300,000 based on maximum participants of 150, with the winner receiving an added prize from Ladbrokes of a $22,500 seat in the last 72 of the Ladbrokes Poker Million V Tournament.
In December Albin Sandqvist from Sweden won the first prize. Will the Nordic Challenge cup go to a Swede again? Or can the Brits show the young Scandinavian stars how to play live Poker?
Each day Ladbrokes are running $25 Daily Finals 19:20 GMT (20:20 CET) that are fed by two super-satellites ($2 & $5). 1 in 10 entrants from the Daily Finals will win a seat in the Weekly Final that is held every Monday at 19:20 GMT (20:20 CET), from which 1 in 10 will qualify for the live event.
Alternatively, if your bankroll is loaded, then you have the option to buy-in directly for $2,500. It's all under the Poker Million Offline Satellites tab.
The Ladbrokes Nordic Challenge package includes $2,000 freeze out tournament buy-in, two nights accommodation for two, $200 in expenses plus complementary breakfast and dinner buffets. In addition to the Main Event a wide range of cash games and side-tournaments will be offered.
Please note that you must be aged 21 or older on the 19th May 2006 to take part in the Ladbrokes Nordic Challenge. No US players allowed.
