The Party Poker World Open VI will be kicking off on September 6th and features a superstar poker line up.
Last year’s champ Phil Laak will be back to defend his title despite his ATV accident that has left his arm badly broken and in a cast.
The tournament is exclusive and is limited to 48 well known poker players who are then drawn into 8 player heats where the winner of each heat advances to the final table. The runners-up at each table will get a 2nd chance to qualify in a final playoff heat against each other with the winner advancing to the final table.
Each player will pay an entry fee of $10,000 and the total prize pool is $480,000.

There will be one heat per day, with the final table being played out as a seven handed single table match up on September 10th.
Phil Laak is stoked to defend his title and plans to repeat. But with all the big names out there, this is going to be a tight race to the finish.
