PKR are expanding their team of sponsored professional players by bringing on board one of their long term female regulars.
Sofia “welllbet” Lövgren has been playing on PKR since March 2008 and has become one of the site’s biggest earners from their crop of female poker players. The 20 year old from Sweden is a cash game specialist and, despite her young age, has quickly become one of the most feared players on the network.
Lövgren said, "It’s a pleasure to be the first female on the Team. It’s a very good opportunity for me to get to play big live tournaments and take my online game to the live scene. Playing poker and travelling are my favourite things, so this will be a great experience."
The Swede will try her hand at her first live tournament in Dublin later this week as part of the PKR team at the Irish Open.
