Isildur1 has made a triumphant return to Full Tilt Poker following closely on the heels of Viktor Blom's deep run in the WSOPE earlier this week.
The crowd favorite has now played two days back-to-back in early morning sessions on September 30th and October 1st.
He is already up $50,000 in total between the two sessions.
The poker world is definitely supporting the mysterious online player as they look forward to him tearing up the tables and moving back to the highest stakes again.
They hope that he will soon be challenging durrrr, Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius once again creating some of the most thrilling action in online poker.
When Isildur1 first burst onto the scene in November 2009, he was the catalyst for creating some of the biggest online games ever seen and is credited for creating online poker’s all time biggest pots.
On September 30th he played No Limit Hold’em Heads-up games exclusively playing $100/$200 including one capped game and won over $25,000 by the end of his session, with most of his money coming from fellow Swede “slipped away”.
It was a very short session by Isildur1’s standards and he played for just an hour and a half.
He returned again on October 1st. This time around, he got in on some PLO $25/$50 Heads-up action cleaning up nicely for around $50,000.
However, it was his No Limit Hold’em Heads-up game that let him down and he lost about $25,000 to the Finnish player “458854”. They were both playing with 20 bb short stacks that created a wild and crazy shove fest.
458854 is a well established Full Tilt player with almost $1 million in winnings, mostly from heads-up play.
Viktor Blom Speculation
Viktor Blom is widely assumed to the figure behind the mysterious Isildur1.
He has just finished up a deep run in the WSOPE Main Event where he finished in 16th place and won over £30,000 for his deep finish.
It is very coincidental that Isildur1 has appeared on the Full Tilt tables so soon after Blom’s success and 1st cash in a live tournament.
The railbirds are going wild at the prospect of Isildur1’s return!
