Theo Jorgensen became the second person from Denmark to win this year at the WSOPE when he saw off the 164 other players to win the WSOPE Pot-Limit Omaha tournament.

Not only did Jorgenson start the day with the chip lead, but also he brought along a sack full of good luck to make sure he wasn't able to be beat. Although he played strong he will be first to admit that he ran pretty damn good on a final table, including back-to-back quads, both for eliminations.

Theo faced young Canadian Sorel Mizzi heads-up and managed to see him off to take the huge £218,626 first prize.

The most notable hand heads-up and what ultimately decided the winner  of the tournament was on a board of Ac Jd 4h, the players get their stacks into the middle Sorel was behind, but he was the one with the big draw, showing 2c 3c 4-5 for a wrap draw and bottom pair, while The Jorg has A-J-Q-6 for top two. The turn is the 3s which Sorel needed! It's all over bar the singing with only four cards in the deck to help Jorgensen. Amazingly the river is the As, making a superior full house for the Dane and giving him a massive chip lead!

The heads-up battle only lasted a few hands more before Theo was crowned champion.

There was an extremely competitive final table with 5 times bracelet winner Chris "Jesus" Ferguson being the star name of the final 9. But Jorgensen, who was 8th in the WSOPE main event last year showed his class to win through.

Final Table Result

1. Theo Jorgensen £218,626
