Result – Denmark's Jesper Hougaard saw off American Cody Slaubaugh to make his third cash of this year's WSOP and his first bracelet. He is only the second Dane to win a WSOP bracelet.

Result- Frenchman David Benyamine was crowned World Champion of Omaha Hi-Lo Split 8-or-better when he saw off American Greg Jamison heads-up to win the $535,687 first prize. 6 out of the final 10 players held bracelets already but amazingly none of the final 3 had ever won one previously.

Result -  Belgian Davidi Kitai saw of American Christopher Bell to take the $244,583 first prize. Kitai is an economic analyst from Antwerp when he is not playing poker.

Result – American David Woo saw of Canadian Matthew Wood to win the massive $631,550 first prize. David came through the massive field that was the second largest of this year's WSOP thus far.

Result - American John Phan managed to do what only a handful have done before him and has won 2 events in the same WSOP. He had already won event 29. This win was not quite as big but will be just as satisfying as he walked off with $151,911. Only 9 other players have won 2 events in the same year.

Mixed Hold'em (Limit/No-Limit)

Result - Relative unknown American Frank Gary beat fellow countryman Jonathan Tamayo heads-up to win $219,562. Gary had been travelling the country having sold off his company a few years ago and had decided to pop into Vegas to play a few events.

Seniors No-Limit Hold'em World Championship

Prize Pool $2,018,380

Result – American Dan Lacourse became Seniors World Champion with a heads-up win over American Dale Eberle and he took down the $368,832 first prize. He can now call himself the best player aged over 50 years old.

Result - German Martin Klaser got the better of American Casey Kastle to win his first bracelet and a very nice first prize of $216,211.
